What you will do:
• As a Mendix Developer you will be an integral part of our engineering team, serving as a key contributor to solution design, development and release
• You will report to and work closely with a Solution Delivery Lead for ensuring proper application of coding standards, ensuring our solutions stand the test of time (robust, supportable, maintainable, scalable)
• As a member of the team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include participation in daily standups, user story refinement, and tuning those stories into highly functional, highly scalable deliverables in the Mendix platform.
• Partner with key stakeholders from the product and business teams as well as other software developers to ensure delivery of the right solution
• In addition to developing and maintaining applications in Mendix, there are increasing opportunities to flex your non-Mendix muscles across our technical portfolio. (AWS, nodejs, java, and more)
• Lead, coach, and mentor developers in your local region as the team is built out over time

• Working on complex, high visibility projects
• Comfortable diving deep into a complicated code base and architecture
• Focused on small details as well as can see the big picture
• Understanding the "why", driving innovation into everything they do
• Squash inefficiency when they see it
• Demonstrates high levels of accountability
• Positive energy and can-do attitude, challenges those around them for the better
• Focus on quality has the QA team wondering why they bother to test at all
• Take the initiative, actively exploring the boundaries of their responsibilities
How you will grab our attention:
• 4+ years in software development
• 2+ years in Mendix development
• Mendix Academy Advanced certified
• Strong organizational and process management skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban)
• Built software at scale
• Mendix Academy Expert certified
• Comfortable in Java
• Kafka experience
• Experience with Microservices
• Experience with internationally-deployed applications
