You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. This role requires a strong foundation in software development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for learning and growing in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: • Application Development: Design, build, and deploy applications using the Mendix low-code platform. • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals. • Customization: Customize and extend Mendix applications to meet specific business needs. • Integration: Integrate Mendix applications with external systems and APIs to ensure seamless data flow and functionality. • Testing: Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and perform debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables. • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and release notes. • Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues. • Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver robust and scalable solutions. • Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest Mendix best practices, tools, and industry trends, and apply them to improve development processes. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Mendix application development. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Technical Skills: • Proficiency in Mendix development and a solid understanding of its architecture and components. • Experience with Java, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS for custom widget and extension development. • Knowledge of SQL and database management systems. • Understanding of web services (REST/SOAP) and integration techniques. • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and logically. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive team culture. • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.\ Preferred Qualifications: • Certifications: Mendix Rapid Developer and/or Advanced Developer certifications. • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. • UI/UX: Basic understanding of user interface design and user experience principles.
