Job Description
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in MEP design, preferably in building projects.
Design Development: Design MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, in compliance with local regulations and project specifications.
System Integration: Collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure that MEP systems are integrated efficiently into building designs.
Load Calculations: Perform detailed load calculations for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, electrical systems, and plumbing to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Technical Drawings: Prepare and review detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of MEP systems. Provide technical support and resolve issues during the construction phase.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and reliability of MEP systems through testing, inspections, and commissioning.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability requirements.
Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Assist in estimating project costs and managing budgets for MEP systems.
Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable and energy-efficient solutions into designs where possible.
