PillarPlus has 2 business verticals:
• Engineering consultancy using proprietary artificial intelligence based software
• Construction management software to manage processes, generate reports and analytics
This profile is for the construction management software division. We enable construction companies to capture consistent data, identify areas of improvement, share reports and collaborate across working teams – all from our powerful app.
Job Responsibilities:
• Understand project requirements and send out proposals, quotations and manage negotiations
• Generate leads - architect's alumni network, memberships of FSAI, CoA, magazines, societies, customer references
• Customer calling, emailing, SMS, Facebook, Instagram share
• Prepare and deliver effective oral presentations whenever required
• Prepare MEP process - Delivery process , design standards, customer response standards
• Review plans and specifications according to the project
• Handle client discussions - Coordinate with architects, engineers for the project
• Supervise the preparation of plans, details, specifications and cost estimates of plumbing, electrical, fire fighting, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and general piping system - Manage the day-to-day work of the MEP team
• Provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector, and contracting service provider, regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System
• Analyse Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions
• Identify problems in design, plan, manage and deliver multiple projects
• Should have knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, BIM softwares and Construction Project management software
• In conjunction with the document controller, ensure that the filing/logging of the MEP documentation is undertaken in line with the project handbook and continually monitor the same
• Be available to undertake off-site inspections of proposed equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary by the Project Manager
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Mechanical or Electrical University degree in Engineering
• At least 10 years of construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
• Past experience of negotiating contracts and closing MEP projects
• Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications, schematics - AutoCAD and BIM
• Possess excellent organisational skills to manage and lead team
• Possess excellent communication skills to talk to clients
• Should have knowledge of Green building norms and must have done projects with Gold and Platinum Ratings in the past
• Should have knowledge of National & International MEP codes
• Willing to travel across cities to meet clients and supervise project sites
• Should have done townships, IT parks, commercial complexes projects
Where you’ll work:
Maharashtra region, with being located in Mumbai. The job will require frequent travel to cities in Maharashtra, especially Pune.
South region, with being located in Bangalore. The job will require frequent travel to cities in Maharashtra, especially Chennai & Hyderabad.
