MEP Electrical

Excellent technical knowledge in MEP Dry utilities and Revit. Good working knowledge of MEP in pumping stations Dry utilities. Knowledge of creating / updating the families and extracting drawing directly from the Revit model to create drawing

BIM requirements

Follows specific, standardized procedures to achieve set results and deadlines for drafting assignments.

Minimal instruction on daily work and general instructions on new assignments.

Understands and executes the BIM Standards and workflows.

Develops and distributes prints and exports for team coordination & final drawing/model deliverables.

Uses Common Data Environment for information exchange like ProjectWise and BIM360

Performs QA & QC on discipline models and drawings to assure compliance with BIM standards and requirements.

Understands procedures (i.e. BIM Procedures) and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines, inclusive of Model authoring using BIM tools (C3D/Revit) and extracting drawings from BIM models and performing Clash Detections and Visual Walkthroughs (CDVW) in Navisworks.

Ability to create parametric library elements in Civil3D (catalogues, signage, and Assemblies) and Revit (families)

Excellent knowledge in managing Civil3D datashortcuts in ProjectWise and BIM360 environments

Ability to create templates and comply with project/client styles, line work, and naming conventions in both Revit and Civil3D.

Understanding of ISO1+650 standards

Ability to understand the design process for disciplines

Ability to use and modify Dynamo scripts

Understand GIS formats and ability to create BIM models from GIS inputs

Modelling and drafting assignments that require judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations. Decisions made with general understanding of procedures (i.e. BIM Procedures) and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines, inclusive of Model authoring using BIM tools (Civil 3D / Revit) and extracting drawings and quantities from BIM models and performing Clash Detections and Visual Walkthroughs (CDVW) in Navisworks.

Demonstrates creativity, foresight and judgment in anticipating and solving both routine and unusual operations problems, determining operational objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and understanding and guides for diverse design and BIM activities.
Position requires progressive experience. Functions as a group lead, usually with subordinates, coordinating activities of one or more CADD / BIM staff across multiple projects.
Identifies software and equipment needed to supplement gaps in productivity and service capability.
Coordinates assignments of designer team.
Monitors quality control, progress, scheduling and execution of product delivery to internal/external clients.
Works under general guidance of the BIM / CAD Supervisor.
