Job Overview
The main function of this role is to ensure the on-time fulfillment of Anu Merton's jewellery orders. This will be achieved through building and managing our network of vendors in Jaipur. This will require frequent visits and interactions with new and existing vendors in Jaipur, so you must have a two-wheeler and be located in or around Jaipur.
You will need to be proficient in English reading and writing and be fluent in Hindi. You will also need to be able to use spreadsheets, chat tools, ERP tools and word documents.
• You would be expected to attend a weekly/monthly review meeting to be decided on a case-to-case basis
Skills Required
• Understands the difference between output and outcomes.
• Ability to take ownership of outcomes. Not just task-oriented.
• Ability to plan their day in a calendar and reflect on whether and why things aren’t getting done properly.
• Can use chat tools, email.
• Willing to learn to use tools like Woocommerce & Zoho Inventory.
• Can read and prepare reports in excel, PDF, spreadsheets.
• Work on production plans with each vendor.
• Has empathy for customers and vendors.
• Ability to check phone all day and respond quickly.
• Has good knowledge of Jaipur city and how to get around.
• Can read and write English to a decent level. Fluent in Hindi.
• Functioning computer and internet connection at home
Role & Responsibilities
Vendor meetings include -
• Daily Bill Entries
• Examine Overdue Purchase orders for the Day
• Get Commit Dates from vendor for Overdue Purchase orders
• Get Commit Dates from vendor for New Purchase Orders
• Get Commit Dates for Rejection & Vendor Credits
• Follow up with Vendors for Items Ready to send to Office which are Ready
• Follow Up with Vendors for Urgent and Critical Orders
• Follow up with Vendors for New/Sample
• Weekly Meeting with Vendor for Follow up and Production Plan for Each Purchase order
• Inform about Rejections to Vendor
• Periodic Vendor Visit
• Root Cause Purchase Order Delay.
• Updating MIS.
• Monthly Vendor PPT on vendor KPI.
• Monthly vendor meetings in the office.
• Daily follow up and documentation on PO delivery with vendors over phone, if necessary in person.
Daily reviews include -
• Open Purchase Orders with Overdue Delivery Dates
• Overdue Purchase Orders (New / Missed/ Lapsed) Commits
• Update Overdue Commit Dates
• New Purchase Orders Without Commits
• New Purchase Orders Commit Date Given
• New Purchase Orders without commits > 3 days
• Quality Ready Items
• QC Cleared
• No. of items delivered on time
• No. of items delivered late
• Daily Purchase Orders On Time Delivery
• Total Open Purchase Orders
• Total Vendor Credit Rejections
• Rejection items that are ready for dispatch
• PO delay Root Cause
Traveling Dukaan (Digital Pop up store)
• Inform Vendors about the Traveling Dukaan Dates
• Identifying products and shortling the products
• Assign Codes and Take Pictures of each items along with Code
• Fill up product Information Like: Code, Category of item, Detail of item, back order status, Cost Price / Selling Price, HSN Code, Stock Availability, Remaking Time, Vendor Name Etc.
• Photography done to release Items on Instagram / Website
• Assigning Codes to Images of products featuring in Traveling Dukaan Etc
• Coordination with Customer service and Inventory teams
• Follow up on Vendor payments.
Employees Reviews
• You will be expected to present data for your key areas (packing and dispatch On Time Delivery) in a weekly and monthly meeting.
• We will conduct a one month and then quarterly check-in for performance reviews.

Anu Merton is a new jewelry eCommerce brand based in Jaipur and Bangalore and founded by Anu Merton Jha. The focus of Anu Merton is on handmade Indian semi-precious jewelry. Most of the jewelry is made-to-order in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Patna and Bangalore.
The company launched in July 2020 and now processes over 300 orders a month from customers around the world. Anu won the Grazia fashion awards 2021 and was one of 30 people in India selected for the Vogue style list.
About 70% of the customers are in India and 30% in the US, UK, Singapore, Dubai and Australia. Most of these sales are driven through Anu’s Instagram site and via the company’s website.
