Job Description
The Merchandiser (Sales) will be responsible for managing and growing our sales portfolio by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key clients, and negotiating and closing deals.
The successful candidate will have a passion for customer , a deep understanding of the garment export industry, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in trade shows, representing the company Reach out to potential new clients and work with them until close of order.
Develop potential new clients by sending emails/designs, developing samples for them and finalising their requirements.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the garment export industry
Build and maintain relationships with key clientsNegotiate and close deals with potential clientsCollaborate with the production team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of ordersStay up to date on industry trends and developmentsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field5+ years of experience in merchandising.
Strong communication and negotiation skillsWorked in garment export industry for 5+ years. Past experience at buying house / sourcing office is a big plus
