This position provides tremendous opportunities for contribution and value addition by understanding end-to-end processes of the Equity Capital Market (ECM) business.
• Responsible for overall Institutional Business and handling and expanding portfolios of clients for Institutional Equity
• Acquire new clients (FIIs/Domestic FIs) and build the Institutional client base for Institutional Brokerage business
• Service Institutional Investors with new equity research ideas generated by the equity research team and facilitate Investors understanding of the market opportunities
• Identify, convert & develop successful business relationships with Banks, FIIs, Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Pension Funds, Hedge Funds & other Institutional Investor segments for Equity sales.
• Cover the market and contribute towards building and running the firms marketing and sales effort.
• Coordinating meet between research team with various kind of institutions and corporate
• Responsible for identifying customer needs and assessing their risk appetite
• Monitor clients product preferences and assess their investment goals, and work closely with the Senior Management, Capital Markets in structuring the appropriate products.
• Liaise between the clients and the company's specialist desks and cross-sell the company's full range of financial services and products
• Maintain records of clients and provide timely progress reports to management.
• You may also be responsible for the preparation of marketing materials and presentations of the company's products and services.
• Responsible for revenue generation in terms of brokerage
• Manage customer meetings and sales process as part of his reporting structure.
• Conducting market research for generating business thereby adding for revenue generation
• Preparing and maintaining MIS report
• Hands on experience in Business Development.
Preferred Skills
• Reasonable Understanding of legal framework, Stock Exchanges and SEBI Rules,
• Companies Act, and other applicable industrial laws
• An established past record of acquiring Equity Institutional clients
• Should have strong networking and relationship building skills
• Superior sales skills, Customer Focused, Strong process understanding, Self-starter
• guide the team on process need and manner of conducting the assignment
• Reasonable verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a Team, Convincing Power and Persuasion Skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Proficient with MS Office/Open Office
Education/Experience
• MBA with 8 to 12 years of experience in Institutional Equity Sales
• 10 years plus work experience in an Equity Capital Market with graduation.
• Must have Marketing experience in the previous job
