What you’ll do:
We’re looking for a Metering Coordinator to support day-to-day metering activities for Robotron serviced customers. You’ll coordinate metering work end-to-end, ensuring jobs are actioned accurately, customers are kept informed, and compliance and risk requirements are met.
In this role, you will:
Coordinate end-to-end meter installations, replacements, removals, and fault resolution
Create, update, and track metering jobs in internal systems, ensuring accurate data entry and records
Review and process metering paperwork and data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
Liaise with electricians, field teams, network providers, and metering contractors to meet service levels and timelines
Provide clear updates to customers and resolve queries/complaints professionally via email and phone
Monitor trends and recurring issues, identifying opportunities to improve processes and customer experience
Support reporting on metering performance, service delivery, and compliance outcomes
What you’ll bring:
You’ll be detail-focused, calm under pressure, and confident working across internal teams and external providers to get things done.
NCEA Level 2 (or equivalent) and strong system and computer capability
2+ years’ experience in a customer-facing front or back-office role
High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including customer updates by email and phone
A customer-first mindset with professional handling of queries and complaints
Problem-solving skills and experience contributing to continuous improvement
Flexibility and resilience, able to adapt to change while maintaining quality and accuracy
