Role Responsibilities
We look for a seasoned program management skilled individual to track and report the status of project deliveries in the Payments domain. The candidate must be a skilled professional who has experience and expertise in project management, planning and governance control models in software development using Agile methodologies.
Should have experience in management of large delivery programs involving the full spectrum of Software Services Delivery activities including Client Relationship Management, Delivery management, management/technology Consulting support, Technology Identification and assessment, Solution Architecting/Design, Systems Integration Planning, Project Estimation & Pricing, Project Management and Cost Control
Interact with Product Owners and Scrum masters for status communication, forecasting and prioritization of work.
Manage & report on resource availability and needs; Involve in recruitment and hiring process
Project Planning and Reporting – responsible for running BRP, Refinement forums, weekly progress meetings with teams
Managing the escalation and reporting of key deliverables
Risk, Issue, Dependency Tracking – Responsible for setting up and managing the RAID logs
Handle budgets with forecasts and track against the actuals
Executing Communications initiatives – Will be involved in executing Communications initiatives across print & online media
Process – Define and implement project processes when necessary
Participate in other functional activities and define and improve processes for the Organization.
Allocate work to resources based on capability and availability so as to maintain optimal resource utilization.
Monitor, follows-up and review work progress, so as to ensure that delivery is on time, within the budget and adheres to prescribed quality norms
Change control - Change Management - responsible for managing and tracking programme change within the Chennai team
End-to-end Project Management – Will be involved in managing small projects end-to-end using PM methodology - planning, reporting, budgeting, escalation, boundaries management
Create Project plan and project strategy
Manage, guide and motivate the team to produce results. Is responsible for performance appraisals, career path guidance, training, and conflict resolution within the team
Vendor management and Stakeholder management
Strategy
Awareness and understanding of the digital development, testing, business strategy and model appropriate to the role
Business
Awareness and understanding of Retail business, the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates
Processes
Awareness and understanding of Digital Development, Agile s/w development process, change and release management process
Risk Management
Awareness and understanding of Senior development role in the software delivery life cycle
Regulatory & Business Conduct

QUALIFICATIONS
TRAINING, LICENSES, MEMBERSHIPS AND CERTIFICATIONS
PMI Certification on Project / Program Management
Certification on Enterprise Agile frameworks
Trained on Financials (managing Capital / Operational expenditure costs)
