Your work will play a critical role in the smooth operation of our company, with tasks ranging from managing database access to implementing efficiency improvements
Responsibilities: Oversee the installation, monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning of production databases to ensure high data availability
Develop, implement, and oversee database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software
Conduct research and make recommendations on database and data warehouse products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts
Install and configure relevant network components to ensure database access, consistency, and integrity
Monitor database system details within the database, including stored procedures and execution time, and implement efficiency improvements
Monitor, optimize, and allocate physical data storage for database systems
Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems
Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases
Conduct database transaction and security audits
Establish appropriate end-user database access control levels
Develop routines for end users to facilitate best practices database use
Assist in change management process, code reviews, and deployment activities

We are looking for a Database Administrator to join our team in Franklin, Tennessee. (This role will require 3 days per week in-office in Franklin, TN) In this role, you will oversee the performance, integrity and security of our databases. Your work will play a critical role in the smooth operation of our company, with tasks ranging from managing database access to implementing efficiency improvements. Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a database administration role. Proficiency in database management and related software including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Microsoft Azure. Experience with EO/IR systems and other backup technologies. Familiarity with configuration management and database administration. Knowledge of design controls. MCSA certification preferred. Proficiency in mSQL and MySQL Database. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server, SSIS SSRS, Microsoft SSRS, SSRS SSIS, and SSRS. Ability to create SSRS reports. Knowledge of electronic data interchange (EDI). Experience with database monitoring and SQL server management studio. Familiarity with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps Services, Azure DevOps, and Azure DevOps Server. Experience with Octopus and Octopus Deploy. Knowledge of Redgate and T-SQL (preferred) Experience in database tuning.
