Job Description: Microsoft Entra Architect SpecialistLocation: RemoteDuration: 4 to 6 monthsProject Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Entra Architect Specialist to lead the design and implementation of a series of identity and access management solutions across multiple stages for a comprehensive enterprise security transformation project. The role will involve architecting solutions based on Microsoft Entra, focusing on Conditional Access, Mobile Device Management, and Intune integration for laptops. The project is structured in stages with defined timelines, and the work will be performed remotely.Project Duration & Phases:The project will be carried out in stages with the following estimated timeline:Stage 1: Conditional Access Implementation – 3 weeks from the startStage 2: Mobile Devices Management – 6 weeks from the completion of Stage 1Stage 3: Intune on Laptops – 8 weeks from the completion of Stage 2Stage 4: Tweaking & Optimization – 3 weeks from the completion of Stage 3The total project duration will span across several months, depending on the successful execution of each phase.Key Responsibilities:Design & Architecture:Lead the architectural design and implementation of Microsoft Entra components, ensuring integration with organizational security frameworks.Architect Conditional Access policies for securing access to resources.Design solutions for managing mobile devices and integrating Microsoft Entra services with mobile device management (MDM) tools.Architect the implementation of Intune for laptop management, ensuring seamless integration with the overall identity and access management infrastructure.Implementation:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and configure Microsoft Entra Identity Governance and other related components.Oversee the setup and configuration of Conditional Access, ensuring user access is properly governed and monitored.Implement solutions for mobile device security management, focusing on compliance and security for devices accessing organizational resources.Guide the implementation of Intune for securing laptops, ensuring that device policies are enforced and that devices remain compliant.Optimization & Troubleshooting:Regularly assess the implemented solutions, troubleshooting and optimizing for performance, scalability, and security.Fine-tune configurations during Stage 4 to improve overall system performance and security posture.Collaboration & Consultation:Work closely with the internal IT teams, security teams, and leadership to ensure the proposed solutions align with organizational needs and best practices.Provide expertise and recommendations throughout the project, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and up to date on progress.Documentation & Reporting:Document all architectural designs, configurations, and implementation steps for knowledge transfer and future reference.Provide regular status reports on progress, identifying potential risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.Training & Support:Assist in the training of internal staff to ensure long-term support and self-sufficiency with the implemented solutions.Provide post-implementation support and advice, especially during the final optimization stage.Qualifications:Experience:Proven experience in designing and implementing identity management solutions, specifically using Microsoft Entra, Azure AD, Conditional Access, and Intune.Strong experience in managing the lifecycle of identity and access management, including mobile and device management.Hands-on experience with enterprise-level deployment of security solutions.Skills:In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Entra, Azure Active Directory (AAD), Intune, Conditional Access, and related security technologies.Expertise in integrating identity management solutions across on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures.Strong troubleshooting skills and experience optimizing identity systems for performance, scalability, and security.Certifications (Preferred):Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect ExpertMicrosoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
