As a Microsoft Software Back End Developer at Avanade, you will lead the development team and provide Integration Architecture and Implementation guidance and direction leveraging your deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure and .Net Platforms. You are also seen as a technology leader within the Software Engineering community and you routinely share your knowledge on bleeding edge topics in community and internal events.
What you'll do
- Contribute across all phases of Avanade projects (e.g. Plan, Analyse, Design, Build and Test)
- Leverage technical expertise to Design and Implement
- Custom software solutions - greenfield and brownfield
- Integration Platform Solutions
- Integration Platform Migration Solutions
- Liaise effectively between clients, IT staff, and business partners to ensure high quality and timely delivery
- Assess Client requirements and scope and recommend appropriate solutions
- Create Detailed Technical Designs
- Ensure project quality meets high technical standards
- Partner with cross-functional technology and design teams to ensure consistent, positive client interaction and solution delivery
- Support the team in defining technical, operational and user requirements
- Oversee the timely and effective resolution of client issues
- Work under general guidance and direction, but fully independent in own work with latitude for autonomous decision-making related to work process
- Travel as needed. You may be required to travel based on presales and project demands
Skills & Experiences
About you
- You are familiar with the core Microsoft offerings and an understanding of broader Microsoft Ecosystem e.g. D365 CRM, Data & AI and Security
- You have consulting experience working with external clients
- You have client management skills and the ability to work with clients to develop and manage an action plan
- You have implementation experience across multiple industries e.g. Health and Public Sector, Resources, Utilities, Retail, Logistics, Communications and Media, Insurance, Professional Services and Banking
- You have experience working with global/offshore teams on Microsoft technology implementation and maintenance projects desirable
- You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Technical Characteristics desired for this role
- Experience with implementing Microservices Integration Architectures
- Experience implementing RestAPI's using .Net Platform and C#
- Experience implementing APIs using Microsoft Azure Integration Services - APIM, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, TSQL and ORMs
- Experience in Azure DevOps
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models
Desirable Certifications
- AZ-204: Azure Developer Associate
- AZ-304 Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect
