Key Responsibilities
• Design & Development: Create and maintain sophisticated MicroStrategy applications, including documents, dashboards, metrics, filters, prompts, and templates.
• Semantic Layer Management: Design and maintain the MicroStrategy metadata, including creating and modifying attributes, facts, and hierarchies (Schema Objects).
• Performance Optimization: Optimize report and dashboard performance, manage I-cubes and caches, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and functional reports.
• Administration & Migration: Perform object migration using Object Manager, manage user security roles, and administer Intelligence Server (I-Server).
• Data Analysis: Write, test, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and validation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Experience: 3+ years of experience working with the MicroStrategy platform.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts (e.g., Oracle, Snowflake, Teradata).
• Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy Architect, Desktop/Developer, and Web.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in team-oriented environments.
• Experience with advanced functionalities like Free-form SQL reports, pass-through functions, and SDK/customizations.
• Experience in cloud-based BI environments (e.g., GCP, Snowflake).
• MicroStrategy certification.
