About the Role
We are looking for a versatile Web Developer to help us build a custom, high-performance website framework designed to launch and scale multiple brands quickly.
We’ve moved away from traditional CMS platforms (Wordpress, Shopify) in favour of SvelteKit because it’s agile, fast, and allows for clean, custom development. While you’ll focus primarily on the front end, you will also help bridge the gap with our back-end systems (Odoo).
The AI Edge: We believe in working smarter. We are looking for a developer who is exceptionally proficient at using AI coding tools to accelerate development, refactor code, and solve complex problems.
What You’ll Do
Build the Framework: Develop a modular "website package" in SvelteKit that allows us to bring new products and brands to market with incredible speed.
Custom Development: Build out high-performance, lightweight front-end experiences that are free of traditional CMS "bloat."
System Integration: Work with the business owner to integrate these front-end builds with our Odoo back end (We will provide full training on the Odoo side).
Leverage AI: Use AI tools to maintain a high velocity of code output while ensuring quality and performance.
What We’re Looking For
Core Experience: 2–4 years of professional web development experience.
Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with Svelte or SvelteKit is highly preferred, but we will train the right person if they are an expert in another framework (like React or Vue).
AI Power User: You should be comfortable using AI to write, test, and debug code. You view AI as a partner that makes you 10x more productive.
Mindset: You prefer "lean and fast" over "heavy and feature-rich." You enjoy building things from the ground up rather than just skinning templates.
Bonus: Any experience with Python or ERP systems (specifically Odoo) is a plus, but not required.
