Role Description
This is a contract role for a Mid Paint / Prep Artist based on-site at our Kolkata studio.
The successful candidate will engage in the meticulous task of cleaning up and preparing plates, paint work, and creating seamless backgrounds for use in high-quality visual effects projects.
Collaboration with other artists and departments to ensure a precise and consistent visual output is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
Proven experience with Paint, Prep work, and background clean-ups in a professional VFX production environment
Expertise in software tools such as Nuke, Photoshop, and other painting tools
Understanding of rotoscoping techniques and ability to track and stabilize shots accurately
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure consistency in visual quality
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other departments
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Experience in the VFX or film industry is highly desirable
