Perform the controls to ensure the FO systems are matching with BO systems
Trade support activities and trade bookings
BAU activities are performed within SLA and with best quality service
All project deliverables are met within the deadline time
What will you be doing?
Review and perform the system reconciliation function, ensuring that the back office system contains all the trades that are in the front office systems (FOBO). All differences have to be investigated, escalated and cleared within agreed timescales.
Strong understanding of Euroclear, Clearstream, DTC, FED and Domestic settlements.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Middle Office environment and the front-to-back processes to perform the BAU daily tasks, such as Reconciliations, Exception Queue Management, Liaising with the desks, Trade Bookings, UT controls
Contribute and support the IBMO strategic regulatory changes and play a key role in the move from legacy architecture.
Fostering excellent working relationship with internal counterparts (i.e. Senior Management, IT, Desk, Sales team, TCU, Settlements, Finance).
Strong/Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly articulate complicated issues to management and other impacted areas and ensure timely resolution of breaks and issues.
Challenge processes in order to achieve more effective processes and efficiency saves to the firm.
Support the Regulatory trade reporting as part of Belgium Trade Reporting to NBB and ensure exceptions cleared timely for smooth Belgium Govies Reporting.

Degree level or 5-8 years’ relevant experience
Understanding of derivatives / Bond /Credit Market
Escalation and Client Handling
