Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and skilled French Teacher for Middle School (Grades 5–8) who can create an engaging, immersive language-learning environment. The ideal candidate should hold a minimum B2 level certification in French and have the ability to build strong foundational language skills in students.
Key Responsibilities
Teach French to middle school students (Grades 5–8) following the prescribed curriculum
Develop lesson plans that focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
Use interactive teaching methods such as role plays, audio-visual aids, and activities
Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students
Encourage conversational French and real-life language application
Prepare students for internal and external language assessments (if applicable)
Maintain student records, progress reports, and participate in parent-teacher meetings
Organize cultural activities, French days, or language clubs to enhance learning
Collaborate with other faculty members for interdisciplinary learning
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in French / Education or related field
DELF B2 certification (mandatory)
Prior teaching experience in middle school preferred
Strong command of French language and pronunciation
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Familiarity with ICSE curriculum (preferred)
