We specialize in all subject areas and cater to kindergarten to grade 12 students. Our tutors are only the best-certified teachers and Subject Matter Experts or those completing their degree in Education, paid higher wages than the industry average.

Job Summary

We are seeking educators who can provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the state curriculum.

Tutors will provide supplemental assignments to help promote a greater understanding of the material, offer remedial and enrichment support for students, and communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress.

We are looking for a customized approach tailored to the individual needs of each student.

Qualifications and Skills

· Be an energetic and enthusiastic teacher with experience teaching.

· Enjoy working with students & families.

· Have great communication skills.

· Be able to cater to an extensive range of learning styles.

· Have taken California mandated reporter training (available at https://mandatedreporterca.com/training/general-training)

Requirements

A qualified applicant will have a bachelor's degree and will also meet at least one of the following criteria:

· Hold a valid California State teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof.

· Be a current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate.

· Have two or more years of experience as a private or charter school classroom teacher.

· Have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College.

· Be a Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College.
