Job Type

This is a contract position offering competitive compensation (approximately $28 per hour) and flexible scheduling options. We value expertise and dedication, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced tutors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized student support plans

• Collaborate with teachers and staff to monitor student progress and adjust tutoring strategies

• Manage student behavior in tutorial groups and maintain a supportive learning environment

Requirements

• Relevant teaching or tutoring experience in Reading or Math (General and/or Bilingual ESL)

• Alabama teacher certificate preferred (Bilingual/ESL a plus)

• Proven ability to positively impact student academic outcomes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility and willingness to travel in Birmingham and surrounding areas
