Middleware Administrator
Position:Senior Analyst / Manager
Job Responsibilities:
• Administer, Support and maintain middleware products (IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, JBOSS EAP , IBM HTTP servers, Oracle Http servers , IBM WMQ)
• Responsible for the installation, maintenance and configuration of JBOSS EAP, IBM WAS, ORACLE WebLogic, IBM WMQ
• Assess and identify appropriate changes and make recommendations for implementation.
• Perform JBOSS EAP, MQ/WMB/WAS/WMQ etc. system administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, problem resolution, system security and change implementation.
• Perform JBOSS/MQ/WMB/WAS/WMQ installation, administration and documentation.
• Work individually or in a team on various system projects related to UNIX, Linux, Windows and Application support.
• Plan, prepare and apply maintenance fixes and upgrades to JBOSS/MQ/WMB/WAS/WMQ software.
• Assist application support team with high level problem program debugging through heap and thread dump analysis.
• Provide system support including off shift on call support as and when required.
Essential Skills and Experience:
• 6+ years managing IBM WebSphere Message Queuing, Application Server, JBOSS EAP , Oracle WebLogic
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Deployment of JBOSS EAP in an Enterprise environment.
• Should have strong UNIX/Linux operating system administration experience,.
• Certification / Training in JBOSS or IBM WAS or Oracle WebLogic .
• Experience in deploying clustered, highly available middleware platforms.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with Database is good.
• Strong knowledge (recent experience) with the following technology: storage, servers, data centres and cloud.
• Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks will be a plus
