The Database Administrator will be responsible for analyzing the database requirements of assigned projects, determining information needs, database relationships, data flow, storage requirements, and reporting capabilities
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, the ability to provide direction to programmers and analysts, and expertise in monitoring and analyzing databases
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in database management systems and SQL
Experience with database design, maintenance, and implementation
Ability to provide direction to programmers and analysts
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of database monitoring tools and techniques
Responsibilities
This role involves applying knowledge of database management systems to coordinate maintenance and changes, testing and implementing new database designs, and writing logical and physical database descriptions
