Application Migration Lead
Exp Level - 13 to 17 years
Location - Pune
NP - Immediate to 30 Days
• Strong working knowledge of Linux (Red Hat & SUSE) and Windows – including legacy versions
• Position will be working on migration activities
• Leading migration team.
• Strong Leadership skills – technical lead for migration team
• Strong Communications skills

This person will not be involved in any Technical Work themselves this will be for the Technical Resources we have (e.g. Wintel, Linux etc) – the Migration Lead is the person who plans and drives the Migration / Move Events.
They will need to understand Business Requirements which are translated into IT Infra, understand how Business Applications work or be able to decipher, and be able to plan the Move Events by Applications which are dependent on one another.
• Understand and analyze enterprise applications, mapping their dependencies, and identifying upstream and downstream systems.
• Develop comprehensive migration plans, including creating move groups for applications to ensure a structured and smooth transition.
• Lead the execution of migration plans, coordinating with application teams, owners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address any issues that arise during the migration process.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, data center operations, and IT infrastructure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with application teams, owners, and other stakeholders.
