Job Description
Dairy products have long been a nutritious part of diets worldwide. At ofi, we’re proud that our dairy business helps customers bring these benefits to consumers across the globe. Every day, our teams use their imagination and expertise to innovate alongside our dairy customers, delivering products that consumers will love. We keep dairy moving around the world with our supply chain expertise and on-the-ground capabilities.
Our dairy supply chain and operations span 25 countries across six continents, with an estimated 300,000 cows producing the milk we need for our ingredients. We strive to provide solutions that aim to deliver environmental benefits while minimizing additional burdens. Our biomass boiler and animal feed formulated with almond by-product for dairy cows in New Zealand are great examples of this commitment.
ofi has dairy production facilities in Tokoroa with our newest addition of a second office in Hamilton, near hundreds of quality dairy farms in the Waikato region, the heartland of New Zealand’s dairy industry.
About the Role
We are seeking a Milk Supply Co-Ordinator to join our team in the new Hamilton office. This role is critical in driving delivery and coordination of on-farm systems that support regulatory reporting, generate valuable insights, and reduce duplication across tools used by ofi and its farming partners. You’ll enable the milk sourcing team to operate at their best by turning feedback into field-ready tools, resources, and support that make it easier to communicate ofi’s New Zealand value proposition and stay focused on farm.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the rollout and support of on-farm digital tools and telemetry to streamline regulatory reporting.
Ensure systems generate practical, accessible insights for farmers and the on-farm team.
Work with internal teams and third-party partners to integrate tools and minimize duplication.
Stay across evolving compliance requirements and ensure tools remain fit for purpose.
Develop clear, practical resources to help farmers understand ofi’s value proposition.
Manage content delivery platforms (CRM, SharePoint) and coordinate campaign logistics and team support.
What Success Looks Like:
On-farm systems support compliance and deliver valuable insights.
Farmers and field teams experience less duplication and greater clarity.
The sourcing team has the resources and tools they need when they need them.
Skills & Attributes:
A relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture, agribusiness, environmental science, or a related field.
Strong interest in dairy farming systems and supply chain operations.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new digital tools and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills – able to turn complex information into clear, practical messages.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail.
Comfortable working with digital platforms (training provided for CRM systems, SharePoint, and reporting tools).
A proactive, team-focused attitude and willingness to take initiative.
Why Join Us?
This role brings structure, clarity, and forward momentum to how ofi delivers value on farm. By leading smarter system integration and ensuring the field team is consistently supported with the right tools, you’ll enable stronger farmer engagement and reinforce ofi’s position as a trusted, responsive supply partner.
