Job Description
The Role:
Based in Rolleston, we have an opportunity for a Milk Tanker Driver to join Westland Milk Products committed and customer friendly transport/milk collection team on a permanent basis. The Milk Tanker Driver will transport liquid dairy products efficiently and safely from suppliers' farms, or from other sources as required, to the processing site and will also carry out relevant milk inspection and sampling procedures and ensure that vehicles are kept in a clean condition.
The Driver:
As a Westland driver, you will have a clean Class 5 licence with full truck and trailer experience, be committed to health and safety procedures and the required high industry food safety quality standards that are set. Working a 3 days on, 3 nights on, 3 days off shift pattern (approx. * hr shifts), you will join a team of approximately 80 drivers, in a fleet of 25+ modern European tankers.
We are looking for a driver who is professional, loves what they do, have sound communication skills and a positive can-do attitude and who thrives in a team environment. In this role, you will get to experience various terrains as your travel could take you to 430 farms on the West Coast and in Canterbury.
