Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright apprentice to join our installations and construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment critical to our production processes. This role requires a strong mechanical background, and experience with industrial maintenance systems. The Millwright will play a vital part in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance within our facility. Candidates should possess excellent analysis skills, be detail-oriented, and have a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Install, align, and assemble machinery using schematics and technical drawings
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on industrial equipment to prevent breakdowns
Repair or replace defective components such as belts, gears, bearings.
Conduct welding and other specialized tasks as needed
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory
Collaborate with other maintenance team members to improve processes and reduce downtime
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Millwright or in industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments
Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience and understanding of schematics
Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately
Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues
Good communication skills in English for effective teamwork and documentation
Customer service mindset when interacting with internal teams or external vendors
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 80 per week
