Full job description
Brandt is currently seeking Millwrights to join our Industrial Repair team in Regina, Sk. This position is responsible for assembly, installation, and repair of machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other specifications.
Duties & Responsibilities
Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances
Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Dismantle, repair, and assemble industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications
Operate hoisting devices to position machinery and parts during assembly, installation, and/or repair activities
Test and provide constructive feedback on existing and newly manufactured industrial equipment
Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment
Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
Prepare electronic inspection and service reports

Required Experience
2-4+ years practical experience in the Millwright / Industrial Mechanic trade
Journeypersons certificate from a recognized trade school is an asset
Working knowledge of mechanical drives and assemblies
Successful candidate should be available to work overtime as needed and on customer sites
Ability to work on a team of skilled mechanics in a shop or customer site environment
Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as pumps and gearboxes
