43.5475 to 51.+563 per hour ((Subject to Employment Status may be paid at 13% benefit premium as per SHCP collective agreement article 57.02(a)))
JOB PURPOSE
The Occupational Therapy Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical supervision for the provision of assessment, consultation and clinical occupational therapy services.
QUALIFICATIONS
A university degree in a related field.
Must be registered and a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Must have three years experience as an occupational therapist in a health care setting,
Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
Ability to perform the duties of the position.
Good work record.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Occupational Therapy Supervisor is responsible for:
Assigning, overseeing, reviewing and evaluating service delivery
Planning, directing and evaluating therapy programs and services
Providing staff orientation and coordinating staff development programs
Serving as a professional practice leader
Developing and/or ensuring compliance with standards, policies and procedures
Coordinating or participating in student placements
Performing the work of an occupational therapist
