MIS Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Collecting, organizing and analyzing data to generate reports on business performance
• Creating and maintaining databases to store and retrieve data
• Identifying trends and patterns in data and preparing reports to communicate findings to management
• Conducting ad hoc analysis as required supporting decision-making
• Developing and maintaining dashboards and other visual representations of data to facilitate decision-making
• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across different data sources
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to gather data and develop insights
• Continuously monitoring and evaluating data to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proven experience as an MIS Executive or in a similar role
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large data sets
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other data visualization tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools is a plus
