Job Description: MIS Executive - Retail Store (1.5 to 2 years of experience)
Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and dedicated MIS executive with 1.5 to 2 years of experience to join our retail store team. As an MIS executive, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing data to support decision-making processes, optimize operations, and drive business growth. Your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and retail operations will contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our store.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:Collect, analyze, and interpret sales, inventory, and customer data to generate comprehensive reports and actionable insights.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, analyzing trends, patterns, and performance indicators.
Identify opportunities for improving sales, inventory management, and customer satisfaction based on data analysis.
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels by analyzing inventory data, sales trends, and forecasts.
Identify slow-moving or excess inventory and recommend appropriate actions to optimize stock levels.
Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure timely replenishment of inventory and minimize stockouts.
Sales and Performance Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance by product, category, store location, and customer segment.
Identify factors impacting sales and propose strategies to improve performance.
Provide insights on pricing, promotions, and product assortment to maximize revenue and profitability.
Store Operations Support:Collaborate with store managers and staff to understand their information needs and provide relevant reports and analysis.
Support store operations by analyzing data related to footfall, conversion rates, and customer behavior.
Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest process improvements to enhance store productivity.
System Maintenance and Support:Assist in the implementation and maintenance of retail management systems, including POS, inventory management, and CRM tools.
Provide technical support to store staff for troubleshooting system issues and ensuring smooth operations.
Coordinate with IT teams for system upgrades, data integration, and training on new tools and features.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
1.5 to 2 years of experience as an MIS Executive in a retail environment.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as MS Excel, SQL, or similar software.
Knowledge of retail metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Familiarity with retail management systems and POS software.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
