Job Description :
MIS Executive - International CA Firm
MIS Reporting: Develop and maintain management information systems to generate accurate and relevant financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis, financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other ad-hoc reports as required.
Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis by gathering, interpreting, and summarizing financial data from various sources. Identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies, and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to aid in decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts. Analyze actual performance against budgeted targets and provide variance analysis reports to identify areas of concern and improvement opportunities.
Financial Modeling: Develop financial models to support financial planning and analysis. Perform sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and other quantitative techniques to evaluate business decisions and assess their impact on financial performance.
Data Management: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of financial data by implementing appropriate data management procedures. Regularly update databases and ensure proper documentation and version control.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function. Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows, enhance data accuracy, and automate reporting processes wherever possible.
Compliance and Audit Support: Assist in compliance-related activities, including internal and external audits. Prepare necessary documentation, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, and assist in resolving any audit queries related to MIS and financial analysis.
Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present financial reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. Clearly communicate complex financial information in a concise and understandable manner.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Additional certifications such as CA (Chartered Accountant) are highly desirable.
Proven experience as an MIS Executive or similar role, preferably within a CA firm or financial services organization.
Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, accounting principles, and financial modeling.
Proficiency in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work output.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
