Job responsibilities: - Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain large datasets from different sources within the organization. This involves ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and security. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze the collected data using statistical techniques and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Prepare regular and ad hoc reports that summarize key findings and present them to management for informed decision-making. Database Administration: Maintain and update the organization's databases, ensuring data integrity and security. This includes creating and modifying database structures, optimizing database performance, and implementing backup and recovery procedures. System Development and Maintenance: Collaborate with IT teams to develop and enhance management information systems. Identify system requirements, participate in system testing and implementation, and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting. Process Improvement: Identify areas where data management and reporting processes can be streamlined and improved. Implement automation and efficiency measures to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of data collection, analysis, and reporting. Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations. Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive information and maintain data quality standards. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with different departments and teams to understand their data needs and provide insights that support their operational and strategic goals. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications. Training and Support: Conduct training sessions to educate users on data management best practices, reporting tools, and systems. Provide ongoing support and assistance to users in accessing and interpreting data. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence software. • Knowledge of database management systems and data warehousing concepts. • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets. • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations. • Experience in project management and process improvement is a plus.
