Location: Aberdeenshire and North-East Scotland (Postcodes: AB, DD, PH)
Salary: £28,548 - £45,000 (based on qualifications and experience)
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Full Time | Permanent
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to maintain and repair air conditioning equipment. This includes servicing, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps. You may also work on refrigeration equipment like chilled cabinets, multidecks, or ice machines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work across various manufacturer plants (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba, LG)
• Understand installation designs and troubleshooting procedures
• Seek manufacturer technical support when needed
• Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time
• Keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work
Requirements:
• Full current driving licence
• Willingness to participate in an On-Call rota
• Ability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use a handheld computer device (PDA)
• Highly self-motivated and solutions-focused
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
• Experience in a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., FGAS & ODS regs, time-served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3/NVQ or equivalent)
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working.
