Job Description
You will be responsible for making sure that Meetingselect will be available at any moment for any booker worldwide! You will design, develop and implement the app for both Android and iOS and keep continuously innovating it. You are specialised in mobile apps and have both experience with iOS and Android Apps.
You will report directly to the IT Director.
You will be part of our international IT team, which is based in both The Netherlands and India.
What will you do?
Map the wishes of the (internal) clientConducting consultations with, for example, functional designers, UX designers, UI designers and programmersDesign, develop and implement mobile app for the planner portal and supplier action portals (iOS and/or Android)Responsible for selection of the tool and setting up the framework to develop Mobile apps for Meetingselect platformResponsible for a responsive UI and UX , taking the use to an amazing user journey experienceResponsible for devops, CI/CD and deployment of the appUnderstand the workflow and create the app workflow with the team ( product owner, tester and tech lead)Ensure consistency between the functional and technical side of the app development (in collaboration with the rest of the development team)Drafting and managing the (process) documentationInforming back-end developers and ensuring a good link between the front-end of the app and the back-end development
What do you bring?
Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field1-5 years of experience in a App Developer or comparable position, preferably in the hospitality or travel industryExperience with creating apps Android and iOSExperience with ElasticsearchExperience in Kotlin and native languagesStrong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.Great communication skills, pro-active, problem solving abilities, adaptability, team player, Result orientedFluent in English, both spoken and written
