What You will Do:
Pengcorp is seeking a Mobile developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with the team responsible for delivering new core functionality, enhancements, and defect fixes within current and new applications developed at Pengcorp.
As the successful candidate, you are a strategic, collaborative problem solver. You can engage with UI/UIX designers and Product Owners to get the best solution design and work along other developers and QA testers to deliver quality software in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with UI/UIX designers and product owners to get the best solution design.
• Develop high-quality Android applications.
• Develop and execute test cases to validate business requirements and ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve defects.
• Participate in the QA process to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Ensure adherence to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), in an Agile environment.
Qualifications
• In-depth knowledge of React and React Native, with a minimum of 3 years of experience developing React Native applications (with an emphasis in Android applications)
• Proven experience in
• Developing React Native applications from project design to deployment in google Play
• React Native applications interacting with device’s tools like camera, gyroscope, storage, GPS and audio.
• Deploying secure applications.
• Building React Native applications for Android that :
• Can interact with Kafka
• Can work offline and online modes.
• Communicate in a secure way with authentication and authorization servers, and with resource servers (using JWT, Oauth2)
• Uses logs to help monitor the health of the application in a secure way
• Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), in an Agile or Iterative environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to engage various stakeholder groups.
• Exceptional written communication and documentation skills with the ability to produce clear and concise business and process requirements and functional specifications.
• Experience in developing and executing test cases.
• Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
• Knowledge and experience in the Oil and Gas industry is considered an asset.
• College or University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is considered an asset
• Knowledge and experience in Java is an asset.
• Knowledge and experience in developing React Native applications to be deployed in iOS is an asset.
