At Futuristic Labs, we are working at the intersection of hardware, software, and food to build innovative solutions that revolutionize the cooking experience. Klynk is our mobile app that allows users to discover, plan, shop, cook, and connect with the community. The main USP’s of the Klynk app are its collaborative meal planning and shopping list features, as well as the integration of smart kitchen appliances to enhance the guided cooking mode.
We are looking for an experienced React Native Developer to join our team and play a crucial role in the development of Klynk for scale. If you are passionate about creating exceptional user experiences and have a strong background in React Native and IoT integration, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain the Klynk mobile application using React Native
• Collaborate with our team of developers designers, and product managers to create engaging user experiences
• Integrate IoT platforms and devices, enabling seamless communication between the app and smart kitchen appliances
• Optimize the performance and stability of the application across various devices and platforms
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science for a related field
• 3 years of experience shipping production-level React-Native App(s)
• Thorough understanding of Javascript, React Native and its core Principles.
• Experience with Redux or similar state management libraries.
• Experience with implementing butter smooth animations
• Experience with automated build systems and test frameworks.
• Good Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Javascript.
• Experience with integrating 3rd party libraries & REST API’s.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum software development practices.
• Good knowledge of Android and IOS platforms
Recruiter Notes:Mandatory skills:
• Experience working on an application with a minimum of 5K Daily active Users.
• Knowledge of Native IOS and/or Android Development.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
Nice to have:
• Experience mentoring junior developers
• IOT Device integration experience
• IOT Platform knowledge
