Job Description:
SpanIdea is seeking a talented and passionate Lead Mobile Applications Developer with expertise in iOS and Android platforms. As a Lead Developer, you will be responsible for building a highly engaging mobile health app. You will work closely with Product Managers to define, design, and create exceptional user experiences. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership, coach and develop the team, and actively participate in agile software development processes to ensure timely and successful delivery of valuable features.
Roles And Responsibilities:
• Define, build, test, and deploy an innovative mobile app for iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to design and develop delightful and engaging user experiences.
• Provide technical leadership by defining the app’s architecture, design, and coding practices to ensure high quality, scalability, performance, and security.
• Coach and mentor team members, fostering their architectural skills and domain knowledge.
• Actively participate in agile software development processes to deliver features on time and meet user expectations.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building consumer mobile applications, with a proven track record of shipping Android/iOS apps.
• Strong knowledge of mobile application architecture best practices.
• Extensive experience in managing mobile app development and successfully releasing apps on the Google Play Store and/or App Store Connect.
• Proficiency in developer tooling such as XCode, Android Studio, and simulators, as well as REST APIs and release engineering for mobile platforms.
• Deep understanding of Android SDK, various Android versions, and responsive design for different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Espresso, JUnit, or similar for mobile applications.
• Experience with mobile data storage using SQLite.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and available libraries for common tasks.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications with back-end services.
• Strong focus on building high-quality and testable software.
• Familiarity with agile development processes.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
