Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing mobile applications for the Android platform, with a deep understanding of Android SDK, Java/Kotlin, and best practices for mobile development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, user-friendly Android applications that align with our business goals.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and industry standards.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and third-party APIs.
• Work with RESTful and SOAP APIs to fetch and send data to the server.
• Handle API versioning, authentication, and error handling.
• Use tools like Android Studio, Git, and Jenkins for continuous integration and version control.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experience with Android’s design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
• Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Google Play Store release and app lifecycle management.
