We’re looking for an experienced, passionate and professional Android Developer with Kotlin experience.
What Our Android Developers Do
• Responsible for the accuracy and quality of the deliverables generated at each step in the software development lifecycle
• Architect and design custom mobile applications for Android.
• Have a passion for learning and staying updated on emerging trends and technologies.
• Become a partner and trusted advisor to clients, advising on best-fit technologies and best practices.
• Work with our Mobile UX Designers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Collaborate with a team as the Android development expert to ensure solution viability
• Deliver technical recommendations / presentations to groups of peers and/or clients
What We Look For
• Hands-on experience delivering custom mobile solutions.
• Experience developing quality applications using Swift.
• DevOps experience utilizing Git, automated builds, and CI/CD pipelines, preferably using more than one management solution such as Test Flight and App Center.
• Willingness & ability to go full stack and dig into backend/services code when required.
• Experience writing quality unit tests, performance tests, and UI tests.
• Strong team communication skills and experience working in an Agile environment, preferably using Scrum.
• Desire to work collaboratively with strong technical teams to build complex client solutions
• A passion for solving problems, asking questions, building things, and learning.
What We Would Like
• Experience with Android development using Kotlin/Java
• Understanding of UI design and a user-oriented focus
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Experience with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging.
• Proficiency with offline storage, threading and performance tuning
• Experience using reactive programming frameworks
• Experience with one or more dependency managers
• Experience with additional front-end or back-end languages and libraries such as Java, .NET, Angular, React, Node.js
• Experience with other mobile development frameworks such as Swift/ObjectiveC, ReactNative, Flutter, Xamarin, etc.
