Pitchero, the UK’s leading sports website service, is looking for an Android developer who is at the top of their game to join its growing team and make a big impact.

Our suite of native iOS and Android applications are used by tens-of-thousands of sports fans each week to set their availability, pay their subs, capture match video, post live updates and catch up with the latest information.

Key roles and responsibilities

• Owning the development and delivery of our Android apps

• Working with product management to decide the roadmap

• Working closely with the design and core development teams in a fast-paced, agile environment

• Driving innovation, pushing boundaries and championing a great user experience

Requirements

• Rock solid Android (Java & Kotlin) development skills

• Confident understanding of RESTful APIs and web services

• The ability to build detailed, high-performance interfaces

• In-depth knowledge of the app store release process

• A keen eye for detail and passion for UX

• Experience with version control (Git/SVN)

• Excellent communication and organisation

• A minimum of 3 years professional experience with an outstanding portfolio of work

• A positive and proactive team player with a determination to contribute to a winning team
