Job Title:Mobile Developer Android (or) iOS
Location : Bengaluru
The mobile application for connected cars revolutionizes the way users interact with their vehicles, offering convenience, control, and connectivity at their fingertips. With remote control, real-time monitoring, advanced navigation, personalized insights, and seamless integrations, the app enhances the car owning experience, providing users with greater convenience, efficiency, and a sense of engagement.
Join our team as a Mobile App developer and be part of an exciting and challenging mission. Your role will involve developing innovative iOS/Android mobile applications, understanding requirements and architectural considerations, and optimizing code for performance, stability, and maintainability. Collaborate with cross-functional cross-geographical teams of application and UI software engineers, as well as QA and Validation teams. You'll have the opportunity to solve complex technical problems using industry best practices while ensuring adherence to security policies.
This position offers the flexibility of hybrid work. You will join our development team at Bangalore development center. Join our dynamic team and be part of shaping the future of connected vehicles through innovative mobile app development.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop mobile applications for connected vehicles, focusing on user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers to gather requirements and define app features and functionalities.
3. Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code for mobile applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
4. Integrate mobile apps with the connected vehicle platform, leveraging APIs and SDKs to enable seamless communication and data exchange.
5. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of mobile applications to identify and resolve any issues or bugs, ensuring a smooth user experience.
6. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to mobile app development and connected vehicles.
7. Collaborate with the QA team to ensure proper testing and quality assurance of mobile applications.
8. Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and battery efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
2. Proven experience in mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms, with a strong portfolio of released applications.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
4. Experience in integrating mobile apps with cloud services and external APIs or SDKs. Experience in IoT applications a plus.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve issues efficiently.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Knowledge of SAFe agile development methodologies and CI/CD Pipeline.
8. Good understanding of the development, testing & debugging and analysis tools.
+. Passion for connected vehicle technologies and the automotive industry is a plus.
