Job Description
This is a permanent full-time opportunity in a hybrid work environment (2 days per week in office). Locations: Halifax, Moncton, St. John’s, Fredericton, Stratford
Your future duties and responsibilities
Provide technical support for mobile build environments and developer tooling across iOS and Android platforms.
Troubleshoot and maintain tools including Xcode, xcodebuild, CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager (SPM), Gradle, Android SDK, and Fastlane.
Manage and support macOS and Linux build infrastructure, including CI/CD runners and mobile build environments.
Support and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines, runners, artifact management, and release automation workflows.
Manage Apple Developer certificates, provisioning profiles, Android signing credentials, and CI/CD secrets.
Support AWS operational requests, including IAM roles, policies, access management, and cloud troubleshooting.
Create automation scripts, runbooks, and self-service documentation to improve developer experience and operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve platform reliability, and streamline mobile release processes.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, System Administration, or Technical Support roles with a focus on mobile platforms.
Strong experience supporting macOS and Linux environments.
Hands-on experience with: Xcode, CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager (SPM), Gradle, Android SDK, and Android build tooling , GitLab CI/CD and Fastlane , AWS CLI, IAM, Terraform, or CloudFormation
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash.
Experience managing Apple Developer certificates and mobile signing processes.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) environments.
Familiarity with Datadog, CloudWatch, OpenSearch, or similar monitoring tools.
Experience supporting mobile monorepos and Docker-based build environments.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000 - $110,000.
