Mechanical Plumbing Engineer - Mobile London - Immediate Start - Temp to Perm
InVictus is currently looking for a mechanical engineer to join a large FM provider on a blue light contract covering sites in central and South London. A van and fuel card will be provided. My client based in the facilities maintenance industry is looking for a confident outgoing engineer that can use his/her own initiative to produce results. The position is temporary to permanent opportunity lasting 3 months on the temporary side. .
Salary The rate of pay for this position is up to £23 per hour and an annual salary of up to £45,000.
Work Hours Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. There may also be opportunities to join the on-call rota with overtime opportunities available.
Responsibilities and duties
• PPM and reactive maintenance
• Fault finding and competent to rectify
• Regular fire alarm testing and drills. Ensuring the fire equipment is in working order and updating the fire alarm log book
• Liaise with management regarding health and safety procedures/issues, ongoing repairs and faults, maintenance and building services.
• Assisting with basic fabric duties on site
Requirements
• Minimum C&G level/NVQ 2 in mechanical engineering OR plumbing
• Must be able to obtain a basic DBS
• Must have a valid driving licence
• Experience in commercial building services
• General maintenance experience
• Time served in an apprenticeship is an advantage
