Job Description
Clipped Assist is seeking self-motivated and well-presented candidates to take the next step in their career and become Hybrid Fixed site & mobile vehicle painter technicians servicing your state. You may already be a mobile vehicle painter or wish to move from a panel shop into one of our State-of-the-art repair vans, this position will offer the best of both.
KEY DUTIES:
Minor damage repairs
Removing rough spots on Vehicle panels
Color matching and mixing paints to match paint shades and selecting premixed paint.
Masking areas not to be painted
Applying primer and finishing coats using spray guns and sanding between coats.
Touching up paintwork and applying polish
Sanding surfaces by hand using power sanders
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
● Customer service skills
● Trade qualified or close to completion of an apprenticeship in a spray-painting
● Water-based paint knowledge is preferred but not essential
● High level of skill in paint application
● Color mixing & matching
● Possess an eye for detail and take pride in their work.
● Able to thrive in a busy and fast-paced environment
● Unrestricted drivers' license
