Facilitate Model UN simulations, guiding students through debates, resolution writing, and teamwork

Administrative

Maintain accurate attendance records and participation reports

Job Title: Model United Nations Teacher (Short-Term)

Location: University of Miami, Coral Gables

Join YES USA's Program as a Model United Nations Teacher!

We are pop-up educational camp for international high school students visiting Miami. Students take Model UN classes at the University of Miami and visit all of the sites in the area during their short stay.

We are seeking an experienced Model United Nations teacher to lead an engaging short-term, three-day course at the University of Miami. You will be responsible for guiding students through simulations of UN sessions, enhancing their understanding of international diplomacy, and helping them develop critical skills such as negotiation, public speaking, and research.

We require full availability on the following dates and times:

-Thursday, November 21st, 2024: (3 hours of teaching):

• 5:50 PM - +:00 PM (10-minute break)

-Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 (6 hours of teaching):

• Morning classes: +:30 AM - 12:40 PM (10-minute break)

• Afternoon classes: 2:00 PM - 5:10 PM (10-minute break)

-Sunday, November 24th, 2024 (6 hours of teaching):

• Morning classes: +:30 AM - 12:40 PM (10-minute break)

• Afternoon classes: 2:00 PM - 5:10 PM (10-minute break)

Your key tasks will consist of, but not be limited to:

Student Supervision
