You’ll be our: Module Lead, Manufacturing Engineering
You’ll be based at: IBC, Bangalore
You’ll be Aligned with: Head- Manufacturing Engineering- Special processes
You’ll be a member of: Manufacturing Engineering
What you’ll do at Ather
• :Own development of all the parts within a module/subsystem
• .Be agnostic. to specific process and try to bring in a generalist Manufacturing Engineering perspective in the design
• .During the design phase involved in brainstorming to arrive at the most optimal design based on the constraints of the function, cost, supply chain, quality and manufacturability
• .Work with various process experts within and outside ME and develop manufacturing strategy for the project based on the various risks on manufacturability front and the context of the project
• .Ensure project and cross functional context is understood by everyone in ME who is not directly involved in the CFT
• .Balance out risk on the project by taking judgment call between various parts being developed within the module
• .Take charge of NPI, capacity improvement, quality defects
• .Be a jack of all trades as far as Manufacturing Engineering is concerned

• g.First principles understanding of manufacturing principles, quality systems, testing system
• s.Demonstrated willingness to learn about multiple processes beyond expertis
• e.Tools: APQP, Problem solving tool

er:Bachelor degree in engineering in any discipline, 8 to 12 years of working experience in industries, expertise in manufacturing engineeri
