Position Summary:
The OTG Money Room Attendant ensures the integrity of the company cash vault at opening and closing, and crewmember distributions and returns. Prepares and ensures accuracy of bank deposits. Reconciles cash receipts and reports with cash at shift end. Provides teller services to cashiers and staff throughout the shift. Prepares and updates accounting spreadsheet. Documents and reports coverage and shortfalls of crew members according to OTG Cash Handling Guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Report all details for cash counting, accounting, opening, closing, and deposits
Computer proficiency in spreadsheets
Excellent writing skills for accounting and documentation
Count and sort large sums of money in a fast and accurate manner
Customer service skills for teller services
Mathematical skills for cash counting and teller services
Work independently with indirect supervision
Qualifications and Requirements:
1 to 2 years of cash handling experience
Able to be dependent on
Highest degree of honesty and integrity
Banking experience, a plus
Strong math and money-handling skills are a necessity
Ability to lift multiple boxes of coins that may weigh up to 15lbs each
Must possess a high regard for customer service and Team Member relations
Ability to record maintaining, verifying, balancing allocated cash drawers, including proper trial balancing all through the day
Ability to multitask under pressure and supervision
Hourly Pay Rate $22.00
