Job Description
Work in a secure facility monitoring video and motion alarms using a false alarm monitoring software.
Communicate with the local Police / RCMP / Medial and Fire services to report incidents of Intrusion and Fire observed using the Video and Alarm Monitoring system.
Communicate with Security Guards.
MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
Must have a reliable means of communication (Smartphone with data).
Must have a reliable means of transportation (No public transit available overnight).
We are seeking employees that are professional, experienced, and looking to join our team long-term!
Must have reliable transportation & valid Driver's License
Must have excellent communication skills and a calm demeanor
Must be able to follow specific and detailed instructions
Professional communication skills
Must be able to work shifts of up to 8 hours.
Schedule: 1600hrs - 2400hrs & 2400hrs - 0800hrs (weeknights, weekends, statutory holidays)
Environment: Indoor, monitoring a dozen screens and using multi-line phone systems.
Compensation: $17.00/hour to start plus an additional incentive bonus of $1.00 per hour upon completion of 1000 hours (can be paid approximately every six (3) months).
We have a mandatory health benefits program that is 50% subsidized by us.
