MoogSoft Developer - Responsibilities
• Proven experience in software backend development life cycle
• Experience in Python/Perl/Shell Scripting/Regex.
• Working experience with Web Framework, REST API
• Hands on experience in developing solutions and implementing various scenarios using Python/Perl.
• Hands on experience with REST/SOAP API based integration on Python/Perl.
• Sound knowledge of additional scripting languages like PowerShell, JavaScript, etc. would be highly preferable.
• Partnering with other cross-functional teams to identify tasks and drive them to completion on schedule
• Engaging and assisting other teams with issue identification and resolution utilizing various monitoring platforms
• Ability to write self-explanatory code and to be able create functional documentation
• Working knowledge of Moogsoft as a developer or administrator.
• Experience developing various tools integration with Moogsoft.
• Any experience with Splunk premium apps such as Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) would be a big plus.
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Training/User Support for platform and other monitoring components
• Capable of working independently/team with some guidance
• Capable of documenting requirements and designed solutions
• Ability to multitask and solve complex technical problems
Functional Knowledge
• Develop/release/integrate and extend an app or add-on within MoogSoft
• Software development Lifecycle
• Python / Perl / Linux Shell Scripting / Regex.
