Role : Database Specialist
Exp : 2+ Years
Location : Ahmedabad (Onsite)
We are looking for a Mid-Level Database Specialist with strong hands-on experience in MySQL and PostgreSQL, along with working exposure to MongoDB and Redis.
You will manage database performance, availability, security, backups, and production support while working closely with Backend & DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain MySQL & PostgreSQL (prod + non-prod)
• Performance tuning, query optimization & index management
• Monitoring, capacity planning & issue resolution
• Backup, restore & disaster recovery (SQL + NoSQL)
• Support MongoDB (replica sets basics) and Redis Implement database security, access control & best practices
• Support replication & high availability setups
• Collaborate with developers on query optimization and migrations
• Documentation + runbooks + incident/on-call support
Required Skills
• Strong DBA experience in MySQL + PostgreSQL
• Working exposure to MongoDB + Redis
• Good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS)
• Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
• Basic scripting (Bash/Python) preferred
• Familiar with monitoring tools (Percona, pgAdmin, CloudWatch, etc.)
